For my webventure, I made a fashion game. It was inspired by the movie "The Devil Wears Prada," and I made the player go through a lot of similar tasks from the movie. The player completes tasks and navigate challenges in the fast-paced fashion world. I enjoyed curating an aesthetic for the game and adding fun little personalized touches to it. I enjoyed having the freedom of making whatever paths I thought fit best and what would be unexpected. I had lots of fun making all the different paths in the game, but there was definitely a lot of learning to be done in the beginning. I faced a lot of issues with Wix glitching out a bit, but I found that taking a break and refreshing it helped a lot. I found that making paths and ideas up as I created the game was more helpful than planning it out before, because my plan didn't always work out. Regarding the gif portion, I found that it was very difficult at first. I kind of had to reteach myself how to make the different types of gifs, but after exploring the tools and facing some trial and error, I found my way through it. One of my gifs was a picture of my friend holding up the middle finger for one of the losing paths. That was one of the things that I had fun with for this project. Overall, I really enjoyed this project and I want to continue making fun gifs in the future.
